Since public photography was not allowed at the August 7 performance and I wanted to keep souvenirs of the first belly dancing costume I made, I organized my own photo shoot in my bedroom with my tripod as the photographer. :)
I took a lot more body shots than these, but the lighting was inadequate -even with three light sources- and I lacked space in my tiny bedroom to place the tripod far enough from me. I also didn't have a black background big enough for body shots (I hung a black coat behind me for the portraits), so the white wall had to be used.
Then I played around editing the photos, so I'd have a more interesting product. Hopefully one day when I have my own professional belly dancing website, I'll use these photos for it!
